Why Do Reflective Signs Reflect Different Colors?

We often see various reflective signs at night. Because the feature of reflection can not only point us in the direction, but also act as a reminder. Of course, you’ll find reflective signs in many different colors.
According to reflective sign manufacturers, common road reflective signs mainly come in 5 colors, each with different meanings.
1. Red: It is used to display the information of prohibition, stop and fire protection, such as signal lights, signal flags, emergency stop buttons on the machine, etc., all of which are red to indicate “prohibition”.
2. Yellow: used to mark danger. “Electric Shock Caution”, “Safety Caution”, etc.
3. Green: used to mark safety incidents. Such as “work here”, “ground”, etc.
4. Blue: used to mark mandatory enforcement such as “must wear a helmet”.
5. Black: Geometry used to display images, text compliance and warning signs.
Ink selection: After selecting the common color ink to print the pattern, the reflection effect of the produced reflector will decrease. Because the pigment contained in the ink is an inorganic pigment, it is not transparent. The colors are gorgeous but mask the reflections. If you use the purchased reflective ink to print, the pattern reflection effect is good, and the performance in all aspects meets the requirements for use. However, due to the small amount of reflective ink used, a lot of colors are needed, and sometimes colors need to be mixed. Purchasing and stocking up various reflective inks creates a capital balance and is expensive.
